Whittling that down to the essentials, it sounds like you'd limit
the program's purpose to my first of three purposes, (for members
who are relatively new to astronomy). And then hold the inventory
to around a dozen or so simple and robust scopes. Yes?
Whether any of us agree with that or feel it's too limited, we
might want to at least start with that. We can always consider
expanding the program's purpose later (in small steps).
So, Mark... what would you have us do with things like the solar
scope? Sell it, leave it in the program as an exception, or pull
it out of the program but still keep it for special cases?
