How do you define "working?"  Imposing storage on people
might appear to be working, but there are hidden costs
and risks that aren't so tangible.  For starters, it's a
very unprofessional approach.  How do you think it makes
us appear to a new member?  Suddenly being tricked into
having to store a scope.  What kind of storage conditions
will a scope get in that case?  If we apparently don't
seem to want it back, I can easily see they would think
less of it.  I'm sure one of us more established members
who *offers* to store a scope will take better care.
