[SJAAboard] Toward a Library Model for the Loaner Program

I suggest Mark reread my posts more carefully.  That should make it clear that 

	- I feel the current distributed storage model is working, but at
considerable cost to those running it. I am willing to consider other models for
the program.
	- I am just raising the library model as a possible alternative. The
library model is easier to administer and more responsible to member loan
requests. The library model does force us to consider the storage footprint of
the inventory.
	- Stated that the 300 square feet reflects the inventory reductions I
proposed Saturday and not some further reduced inventory.  It is useful for
scoping the size of the problem and emphasizing why any alternative plan needs
to address storage.
	- Think paid storage would make the program much easier to administer,
but is very expensive. The expense is proportional to the size of the inventory.
"Too expensive" is a value judgment that the board needs to make.
