Rob, I still don't understand your remark that my vision would not have served you as a member. 
Why?  I am lost as to what you mean.  You do realize, don't you, that I am not saying only
beginners can be loaned scopes....

Your objection precluded any discussion of details, so I'd like to understand the basis for the
objection, which you referred to as having been previously stated, in order to see if some
clarification might help get past it.
