I think it's better to sell whole scopes and "good" items
at the auction.  You tend to get the best price that way
and they almost always sell (assuming a low starting bid).

The swap is more suited to parts and pieces.  Wheeling and
dealing is the order of the day, everyone expects bargain
basement prices.  If you insist on a fair price, the
chances are good you'll take it home with you.
