No, I never did.  What I said was that if that's the goal,
there are far better ways to go about it.

So?  I'm sure there are, but that's irrelevant.

No, my example (and point) was this:

The number of SJAA members on TAC who are *NOT* on SJAA
announce is vanishingly small.  (I don't have the data to
prove that, but I believe it.)  The poll was clearly aimed
at SJAA members.  There are a lot of folks on TAC who are
NOT SJAA members.  Therefore, IMO, TAC is not an appropriate
venue for a poll of that kind.

Was the poll actually a veiled attempt to publicize the
loaner program?
