Hi Gary.  That's silly.

The SJAA is not a lending library in purpose.  A library is.  The SJAA loaner scope program can be
what the board determines.  The club as a whole also has input, as the membership is free to
advise the board of their opinions.  Ultimately, if the membership disagrees with what a board
does, it can seek to replace it.  We are not a government service.  A lending library it.  The
board *can and does* determine the purpose of the loaner program, and is not bound by unrelated
examples.
