We all love your concern and emphasis on the Beginner.
I think it keeps club 'honest' because every single one on the
Board I think could be called at least an Intermediate. It would
be easy to loose track of the Beginners without someone just
like yourself making that point (time and again and again).
I thought you had changed somewhat also (oh well). But that's
fine IMO - don't change - keep on rooting for the beginner.
I would like to remind the Board - Rich N. is an official - genuine
Board appointed member of the Telescope Loaner Comm. It is
not a committee of one. Rich should really be called on to put
his heart into those scopes - and training - for Beginners. No
need to suspend for 5 weeks - Rich could take up some of slack!

PS
most of the 'dimes' for the loaner scopes have come from
member scope doners - not out of general dues. This includes
$ from sold-off donated scopes.
