For the sake of clarity, there are 300+ subscribers to TAC's mailing list, some of whom are on
no-mail.  The 1100 number is how many are registered in order to configure the web-page to their
preference, and/or post OI's on the OI Calendar.

I think the poll is a good idea, if for nothing else, to publicize the program.
