[SJAAboard] About Paul Barton - no services, but a wonderful note....

Bonnie Sandler is Paul's daughter.  When I wrote her asking about services, she replied with the
following, posted here with her permission.  It is so "Paul", so true to form, I thought it might
bring a smile to a few of your faces....

"You know he never wanted people to make a fuss over him. During one of the last times I saw him I
told him he was an inspiration to everyone who met him. True to form, he dismissed it with a puff
and a wave of his hand. He vehemently did not want a funeral or memorial service. I suggested
scattering his ashes on top of a mountain way in the back woods where the skies are dark and
there's a good view of the elk (on my cousin's property in Oregon). His face lit up with a big
smile and he nodded enthusiastically."

Paul set an example for us all.
