Hi all,
It is sad that a group of people with supposedly the same goals spend most of their time with petty arguments.? I echo the frustrations expressed by a couple of my colleagues.? Our group has issues right now that need solutions.? I find it very selfish that relatively unimportant issues to the club, like the future of Calstar, have been taking center stage when the very future of our club is in jeopardy.? I for one, want to go on record applauding the work Rob Hawley has been doing.??How some people can sit on the sidelines and belittle his efforts is beyond me.? I hear a lot of talk, yet nobody is coimg forth?with offers to do his work.? Rob puts in?a lot of time and effort, for which he gets paid nothing.? Why he is interested in helping with Calstar when he is not appreciated, is beyond me.? If it were me, at the first sign that my efforts were not appreciated, I would have told them what they can do with Calstar.?
The board doesn't need people to get elected to the board and work on their personal agendas, get their egos bruised when they don't get their way, and then quit the board.? It would be better if those with big egos and personal agendas and no real interest in the fate of SJAA to just fade away.
