Where is this flak coming from? Tell them the SJAA Treasurer
offers to give them the same "profit" we've made on CalStar
over those same years. Of course, since it's a negative
profit, they'll have to pay several hundred. That should shut
them up. ;)
We were running serious losses early on. I'd have to go look,
but I believe we didn't even account for the travel fee at first
($125 per day). At least 2007 came close to the break-even point.

I don't remember a vote like that exactly, we just wanted to
keep it close to the break-even point.

If TAC/Wagner wants a CalStar of their own, no one is
stopping them. There's no reason CalStar has to be only
once per year. There could be a SJAA CalStar and a TAC
CalStar. We should support each other (each group).
