  Here is a link to what the Orange County Astronomers
have been doing for a number of years.  It seems to follow
a fixed format - with 2 sets of classes in a year.  It is
interesting because - besides coving the same materials
as any beginning observer class - they seem to also have
a set of published notes.  A link to this might be of
interest on the Beginners page, perhaps even using
some elements of their format.
