We have been trying to do what Rich proposed. It is not working. We need
to do something different.
Here are some other points to consider.
a) Craig has been the only member willing to try to capture the
meeting in real time on the computer. When Craig can't make the meeting
others do so very reluctantly.
b) If there is an objection to letting the recorder just run we
could only record actual votes. The device I purchased is primarily
intended for note taking.
c) After the meeting I could send Craig the file or I could just use
it for my own review. I have no intention of using the file other than in
the preparation of the written notes.
d) By recording the notes Craig can become an active participant.
That by itself would be a valuable contribution.
If using the recorder is a no go for some board members then we can try what
Craig suggested. The projector is at the meeting, but I would need to sit
somewhere else.
