Yes and/or having the notes projected via digital projection in real-time as they are taken is another solution to the problem. This is what was traditionally done at the AANC meetings and seemed to work perfectly. A large number of edits were made collaboratively "on the fly" with this approach.
I'd also like to revisit the original "spark" that lead to this flurry of emails. It was said that the October meeting minutes failed to capture the board's decision to donate 60mm scope(s) to Project Astro.
That is because the discusion happened at the Jun mtg, not the Oct mtg.

Disposition of stored material

Project Astro would be willing to accept all of the
60mm refractors (6 total) from the loaner telescope
program. Rob Hawley made a motion to donate the small
(60mm) telescopes in storage at his house to project
astro. The remainder of the poor quality scopes will
be donated to Goodwill or scrapped. The motion was
seconded by Craig and approved by unanimous vote.
There were no abstentions or oppositions.
