[SJAAboard] HTML text and attachments

I spend a lot of time trying to comply with 1970's technology of fixed
length plain text messages. I used to do that kind of stuff in college. In
30 years better tools are available.

Since we are going to have to do a Greatest Common Denominator on what our
mail readers are capable of I suspect we are stuck with plain text for the
message body. Everyone's email program should be capable of receiving
attachments. Sending formatted material as an attachment solves the problem
of how to log it.

I am currently experimenting with a test list. PDF attachments are fully
working.

HTML messages and attachments are not. I am going to see if I can tweak the
parameters, but allowing only PDFs is not bad. As long as you avoid fancy
fonts and pictures, PDFs should be small and acceptable to all email
programs and browsers.

If anyone would like to try I can add them to the test list and send a
message.
