I hope that you saw my later post that clarified my remarks. My issue is not
with Sam, but with the practice of giving quid pro quo ads.  See the
previous email for the rest of the argument.

Offering to sell paid advertising is a slightly different issue. I would
have to research that.

OPT has been offering a discount to members for several years.  New members
get the magic number in their introduction mail. In my Christmas message I
ask people to email me for it. Since this is a public list you will have to
write me off list.
