If I recall correctly, years ago it was suggested that the SJAA could 
not publish commercially paid-for advertisements due to the club's tax 
status.  I've wondered about that for a long time, as PAS has Orion ads 
in their monthly newsletter.  Is PAS non-profit?

I know Orion provides a discount to SJAA members (and others), is it 
also true of OPT?  FWIW, Scope City donated over $1,000 to SSP in 2005 
and 2006, and Sam seems to have a well deserved great reputation among 
the local astronomy community.
