The secretary is usually the officer in charge of anything of a
paperwork nature, including letters.  However, a thank-you letter
for a donation could just as easily come from the president or
treasurer.

It needs to have the proper wording to count as a receipt.  I've
already got the prototype for such a letter, if Craig doesn't.

We usually get something from the Andrah Foundation every year.
They've been very good to us.  The digital projector we use at
our meetings and classes was paid for from Andrah donations.
