I originally sent this as a reply to a message from Mark, but I think it
raises an interesting issue we should consider.

This morning I posted a message saying that I would decide this afternoon
whether to cancel the event.

This afternoon I posted a second message saying the event would happen.  I
then forced the digest to be transmitted.

Since the subject line is rather obscure Mark could not tell these were
separate messages.

I only saw each message go out once.  I forced a new digest to occur so I
could distribute the message that the event was going to happen.

I also got the first request to convert from digest.  I am sympathetic since
I do not like digests either.  If we get more requests we may have to
reconsider that approach.
