High School Observatory
 
Prospect High School is part of The Campbell Unified High
School District.  Bill O’Schaughnessy worked for 2 years
as an Earth Sciences (9th) teacher and my have some
valuable insight into what the district teachers had in mind
(if they were even consulted).  It sounds like there was a  sizable
mismatch between the private CCDer who was the original
consultant and the realities of High School teaching.
 
If JVN knows of star party (i.e. astronomy) interested teachers
in the district [the real end-users] it might also help to
contact those to find out what the teachers expect to
actually use the beast for.  Nebulous plans will propably
not make it past expected state budget education cuts!
 
It would be so cool to have a remote CCD imaging site
avaliable to plug-into for school star parties.
