We seem we go through this every time a donation offer is made. Instead,
maybe what the board needs to do decide on a policy; something that any
of us can use on the spot to accept or decline donations in most cases.
I'd like to remind the board that typically most of the money we make at
the swap and auction comes from the sale of donated items. It seems what
we lack is an established procedure for processing small and moderate
non-monetary donations. With a process in place, it wouldn't be such an
ordeal for some of us every time a small donation comes up.
