That would be the programmer in you.  :)

Normally I'd agree, but the star party is informal and really starts
whenever it gets dark--its start time is just to give people a rough
idea when that will be.  On the other hand, the class is more formal
and has a definite start time.

I could live with it either way, and technically you're right, but in
this case it just seems that the class should get top billing.
