What does that mean, they'd just make up something for the premium?

Not necessarily. The premium could be many hundreds on top of
what we already pay. It was that way with the D&O additional, (if
I recall correctly, that was something like $800 extra).
Even if we did those background checks on every member in the
club (roughly $3000), the premium could surpass that fast enough.
Before we decide anything, we should have more details of the
coverage and an estimate on the premium... unless the background
checks are so distasteful we wouldn't go for it even if it were $1.
