This isn't true.  Members come and go, plus we get non-SJAA people
sometimes.  And there is no sign-up.

You seem to forget that this is just a little astronomy club, it's
not a business or some government agency.  What you're suggesting is
to create a police bureaucracy within the club that would question
people personally and require permission to show up to star parties.
Many would not put up with that, even fewer would want to manage it.

And for what, exactly?  What precisely will this insurance get us
that our current policy does not?  And at what cost?  You still
haven't answered that.

Another thing... You're the only one pushing for this, Steven.
