I have to say that the current web page layout is a significant improvement.
The stuff people are most likely to be looking for are right there at the top.
Just a couple of points:
For the Houge star party at the upper left, there's a link: "check the web
site." (That needs to be worded better, but that's not the point here.)
When clicking on the link, the notice changes to "Will a Houge Park Event
be canceled?" I can see there's more, but the text is cut off and there's
no apparent way to get at it. This happens with Netscape 7.1 and 9.0.
With 9.0, the first three lines of the additional text are visible. How
about just going to another page for the explanation?
The club meeting notice at the top right needs a link for more information,
or at the very least a link to the driving directions. Yes, I know you can
find the directions from the very top left link (directions), but it would
be a lot smoother if the notice itself had a link for more info. That's
the first thing people would expect.
