  Regarding postponing election if we don't have candidates:  No, you
need to re-elect the two whose terms are up.

 (     ) Nelson slot

Up for re-election:
 Mitchell
 Hawley
 (     ) Koop slot
 (     ) Smith declines; term is up

  I may have missed something: Mike's seat filled? By whom? If not, we
seem to have TWO present vacancies, and one more in February.  

  I agree that candidates should attend a few board meetings so that
they are familiar with the job and the present boardies.
