  Wow -- in an earlier note the weight was mentioned, but not the
practical need to remove and lift the mirror by one's fingertips.

  I lift my mount, but I don't need to fear splinters in my hands.

  You're right on this one, Rob -- I would not care to borrow this scope
unless the mirror could be left in place.
