[SJAAboard] Integrating the New Member's Guide with the website

I wrote the New Member's Guide originally because I was frustrated about how
out of date and hard to find the information on the main site had become.
Since we now seem willing to improve the website, I no longer believe a
separate document is a good idea.

Akkana also convinced me that there is no market for a stand-alone document.

What I propose to do instead is to update the background information (the
regular meetings, sites, etc) with the newer information from the New
Member's Guide. Even some of that information is now dated (e.g. it mentions
SSP instead of GSSP). I will collapse the New Member's Guide down to the
bear minimum. This will be pretty much just the table of contents and other
material that does not duplicate what is already on the website. This will
allow us to maintain a single set of information. It will still provide a
directory of information that is structured properly to answer the questions
of a new member.

We already took the first step with Akkana's draft rework of the etiquette
page.

Everything created will pass the compatibility checks.

I imagine that most board members do not need to be involved in the nitty
details of this. If no one objects, I am willing to handle this by
committee which will take the discussion off the board list.
