[SJAAboard] FW: Scope Donation

I am not interested in this scope for the loaner program.  A 10" SCT is too
heavy and Mike agreed with that.  Otherwise, I would have donated my own
fully working SCT to the program a couple of years ago.

 

I plan to advise him to try to sell it at the auction.  I someone wants to
sell it himself for SJAA then reply off line and I will supply the contact
info.

SJAA:

 

A friend of mine "inherited" what looks like a Meade 10" Schmidt-Cass (it
just arrived today, and I have not been able to look at it in detail).  Un
fortunately some of the drive controls are missing.  Otherwise it is in mint
condition.  My question is this, would SJAA be interested in this scope even
thought it "needs some work" to get the missing parts?  If you have any
questions please feel free to contact me.  Please advise.
