They're about as heavy as a finder, or twice that of an eyepiece.

Scope #28 is a 13" Dob!  Are you telling me a big 13" scope can't handle
a little Telrad?!  According to my records, #28 has a 8x50 finder.

And, according to my records, scope #27 is the same thing, but has a
6x50 finder AND a Telrad.  Is it nose heavy because of the Telrad?

If weight becomes a problem, I'd recommend removing the finder and leave
the Telrad.  They're easier to use, which is especially important for a
beginner.
