[SJAAboard] Potential loan donation today was a no go

I met with a person offering a scope to the loaner program.  When I talked
with him on the phone it sounded like it was a Celestron CGE with object
finding.  Instead it was yet another wedge mounted 8" just like the four
other scopes we have.  Since I think that is three too many already, I told
him I could not accept the donation with respect to the loaner program.

He is interested in placing the scope.  If someone else wants to take charge
of this donation and manage the sale of the scope for the club then contact
me off list.

It looks like my item of converting one of the wedge mounts into a CGE GEM
mount is back on the table.
