October, November board meeting minutes approved.

Treasurers report delivered. One T-Bill matured, moved funds to checking
account. We received $1000 grant from the city of San Jose.

Loaner Program report delivered. We are slowly getting the outstanding scopes
back. Lee sent a letter to those who have scopes asking for them back, about 6
of 20 have responded. Next steps will be to call and email. We still need to
review scopes to see what to keep, what to divest.

School Star Party report delivered. We've had good weather, good events, good
turnout lately. Program remains popular.

Membership report: Pending memberships approved unanimously. Membership on the
uptick.

Swap Prep: Rich and Lee will arrive at 11:30AM to set up, we could even do some
the night before. Greg and Robert will arrive at noon. Rob has printed out the
Seller Registration and Sales Form and brought three cases of bottled water to
make available at the swap meet.

Change in dues starts in the new year; form on the Ephemeris needs to reflect
it.

Scope purchase: Board unanimously agreed to have a committee of Rich, Greg and
Lee to explore new scopes and purchase up to $3000 before the end of the year.
We may want to consider purchasing another $3000 to $4000 of equipment in early
2011 in order to satisfy the city requirements.

Logo: The new logo that Robert presented will be used on the Ephemeris
masthead. Robert will send the editor an electronic copy.

Upcoming speakers: December and February are confirmed; January has a
possibility but Greg is working to finalize it.

Upcoming events: Open and closing persons will be worked out via board email.

Meeting adjourned at 7:43PM.
