[SJAA-announce] New addition to the loaner program

I am happy to announce that a brand new Orion XT6 Intelliscope was donated
to the club today.  This will be added to the loaner program as scope #46.  

The Intelliscope is a 6" Orion Dob with Digital Setting Circles.  DSC are
the cheapest form of finding electronics.  They do not require the complex
motors of a full go to scope.  They can be added to a Dob such as the XT6
base. The DSC will tell you how to move the scope to locate a particular
object.  You then have to move the scope and perform the tracking.  DSCs on
a Dob are the best value for the money for a beginner that demands
electronics.

A member has already requested the scope for loan.  If you are interested
check back in May when this loan is completed.
